We will hear about the improvements to the life of the female villagers. How the help from PPS members and others has contributed to a change in attitudes and self-respect amongst the local people. The increase in family income through agricultural improvements means they can afford to purchase essential medical items and send their children to school.

The first assistance from PPS members was to help purchase chickens and pigs. But the pigs became goats when unfortunately, they contracted African Swine Fever. The compost made from animal waste and dry plant material is being used to fertilise the vegetables and banana plants. The yields have increased significantly. PPS members have also contributed to the piping and storage of water to the village, as well as the installation of a micro-filter which has had an amazing impact on health.
