Georgina owns and manages Maneroo Farms a 970ha property near Heywood. The enterprise consists

of 800 Angus cattle and prime lambs from 4,000 composite ewes. She has a positive vision for the Food

& Fibre sector, and is a passionate advocate for the Great South Coast Region. She has had a number of

industry sector roles and holds a Master of Agribusiness which she concentrated on the global red

meat industry. Georgina was a nurse when she first started farming with her then- farmer husband.

Unfortunately five years after they started building their operation, Georgina's life took an unexpected

turn when her husband went on a study tour and never returned. She was left to raise two young

daughters and manage the farm alone.
