About the event
This free event will start at 9.30am with a guided tour through Frew Foods International.
There are limited visitor numbers at Frews, we will endeavour to arrange a different day/time for a second group if necessary.
We will then proceed to ‘Overdale’ where we shall enjoy lunch. You are welcome to join the event here, even if you haven’t been to Frews.
Property managers, Mal Nicholson and Sue Holden will give us an outline of their operation, including the agtech thy use to collect animal and paddock information, and how it is used in their farm management.
Then we shall hear from Elke Hocking, Elke has worked in the areas of sheep and beef research, meat science, facilitation, adoption and communication. Elke and her family also run a farming operation in the South East of SA. Elke will talk about the technology we have seen at Frew Food international and how that relates on farm.
Heidi Sutherland & Ashley Read from Zoetis will give a hands on practical demonstration of vaccination technique with a range of applicators.
